Moodle Help

This guide is designed to assist with Moodle 4.1 questions.

Accessibility Overview & Important Contacts

Have you ever listened to an audiobook while you were on a long road trip? If so, you've benefitted from a technology originally designed to help individuals with low vision or dyslexia. Similarly, making your course accessible benefits all students, and not just those with disabilities. General accessibility practices include:

  • Making documents in Microsoft Word before converting them to PDF.
  • Using Serif fonts such as Rockwell and Times New Roman.
  • Using contrasting colors and not relying solely on colors to convey information.

Below you'll find more information about accessibility best practices. If you have questions about making your Moodle course or documents accessible after reading this guide, contact helpdesk@earlham.edu. For more info regarding student accommodations/Disability and Accessibility Services, contact richmaam@earlham.edu or jamesje@earlham.edu..
