Print Map Collection
Lilly Library has a limited collection of print maps available for checkout. The map collection is shelved in a map cabinet located in the Lilly Library Sandbox area (lower level, near the print periodical collection). This collection includes:
- 7.5 Minute (1:24,000 scale) Topographic Quadrangles for Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, and Wyoming
- 1:100,000 and 1:250,000 scale Topographic Maps for Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, and Wyoming
- Maps of U.S. National Parks
- Geologic maps of Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, and Wyoming
- Select local maps (Earlham College back campus, etc.)
We do not have complete sets of topographic maps for the states listed. Most maps are listed in the online catalog.
Additional maps may be viewed online and printed via one of the plotter printers on campus (see section for electronic maps below).

Electronic Topo Maps
Topographic maps of other U.S. states and regions may be found online through several different USGS link. Maps can be downloaded for free and saved in various formats, or purchased online. Downloaded maps may be printed for a fee from one of the large scale poster printers on campus. Check with Campus Printing for additional details on printing services available.

Search for current and historical USGS US Topo maps by name and state. If you don't know the name of the map you are looking for, use the link for the National Geologic Map Database instead.
