Lilly Library

There are currently 7 Mac laptops available for 6 hour checkout at the Lilly Library Circulation desk. 
Computers may be checked out by any current Earlham student, staff, or faculty member.

Power cords are available upon request, but all computers are fully charged at checkout. Computers and power cords must be returned directly to a student worker at the circulation desk. 

The computers are available on a first come, first served basis, and occasionally may be reserved by faculty for instruction in the Library.

Fines for short term Laptops and Accessories
Overdue fines for laptops and accessories are as follows:

• Laptop: $15.00 per hour
• Power Cord: $1.00 per hour

Lost fines for laptops and accessories are as follows:

• Laptop: $900.00 (minimum fine)
• Power Cord: $100.00 (minimum fine)

Lilly Library provides a limited number of laptops for 6-Week loan. These laptops are for students in need. Laptops may be renewed at Library staff discretion if there are other available computers and no one is on a waiting list. 

To request a 6-Week laptop loan, please fill out this form. Please note that laptops may not be available on the same day the request is made. Due to the limited number of laptops, you may have to wait for one to be returned in order to fill your request. 

When your request is approved, you will contacted by email with dates and times to pick up a laptop. If you no longer need the laptop you requested, please contact library staff so your request can be cancelled.
