Library Rooms and Labs: Lilly Library

Please observe the following guidelines.  By so doing, you will be preserving our information resources, maintaining a pest- and clutter-free ambiance in which to do your research, and joining the Earlham Libraries as key supporters of the College's recycling efforts.

Pack It In

• Bring drinks in covered containers
• Don’t bring foods that are messy or smelly

Pack It Out

• Clean up any messes
• Carry out any leftovers and utensils
• Put recyclables in recycling bins
• Put non-recyclable items in trash cans

Leave No Trace

• No food or drink in computer labs and at computer work stations
• No food or drink in the Archives and Special Collections

Study Carrels may be reserved by Earlham, ESR and Bethany faculty, staff, and students and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please call 765.983.1287 or inquire at the Lilly Library Circulation Desk for availability and keys.

Lilly Library provides one computer for use by visitors to the library. This computer is located on the main floor of the library and use is restricted to Web based services, e.g., library catalog, Web-based e-mail, library databases. Please see Circulation Desk staff for further information about community member access to library materials, including government documents.

Equipment: 7 Mac laptops available with wired or wireless; 6 hour campus-wide use

Study rooms are open for general use.

Be advised that study rooms do not have full ventilation capabilities; consider keeping doors open while in use and limiting the number of occupants.

Please note that these rooms are not sound-proof. Conversations in these rooms may not be private or confidential.
