Textbook Affordability

Options for reducing overall textbook costs from the Earlham College Libraries.

Get Help from a Librarian

Consult with a librarian about textbook affordability options for your course. Librarians can advise:

  • if the library owns or can purchase digital versions of your course materials

  • how to determine if a library ebook's license would work well for a class

  • how to find, adapt, or create OER

  • how to put copies of your textbooks on Reserve at the library

  • where to search for content to create course readers

  • what workshops, grants, and other opportunities exist for additional training
