An RSS feed allows the contents of a website to be sent to a reader
Handy for websites that update their content frequently
HOW
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, Rich Site Summary or RDF Site Summary
Formats for "syndication" end in extensions .xml or .rss or .rdf
Symbols indicating a website with an RSS feed:
An "RSS reader" or "aggregator" is needed to produce the content
The reader subscribes to the RSS feed using a reader/aggregator
New content delivered as a site is updated
