One of the oldest journals in geology, The Journal of Geology has since 1893 promoted the systematic philosophical and fundamental study of geology.
Geological Society of America Bulletin
The GSA Bulletin is the Society's premier scholarly journal, published continuously since 1890. Its first editor was William John (WJ) McGee, who was responsible for establishing much of its original style and format. Fully refereed, each bimonthly issue includes 16-20 papers focusing on the most definitive, timely, and classic-style research in all earth-science disciplines.

Earth and Planetary Science Letters
Earth and Planetary Science Letters (EPSL) is a leading journal for researchers across the entire Earth and planetary sciences community. It publishes concise, exciting, high-impact articles ("Letters") of broad interest.
Lithos
Lithos publishes original research papers on the petrology, geochemistry and petrogenesis of igneous and metamorphic rocks.
Journal of Metamorphic Geology
The journal, which is published nine times a year, encompasses the entire range of metamorphic studies, from the scale of the individual crystal to that of lithospheric plates, including regional studies of metamorphic terranes, modelling of metamorphic processes, microstructural and deformation studies in relation to metamorphism, geochronology and geochemistry in metamorphic systems, the experimental study of metamorphic reactions, properties of metamorphic minerals and rocks and the economic aspects of metamorphic terranes.
Journal of Petrology
The Journal of Petrology provides an international forum for the publication of the best science related to the broad field of igneous and metamorphic petrology and petrogenesis.
