The Jewish Women's Archive (JWA) uncovers, chronicles, and transmits to a broad public the rich history of American Jewish women. They are looking for interns to help with documentary film marketing, archives management, and website creation.
JOIN for Justice, the Jewish Organizing Institute and Network, offers Jewish young adults the chance to learn grassroots community organizing, explore their Jewish identity together, and become leaders in the pursuit of social justice. They offer a year-long paid community organizing fellowship.
A fellowship for a year in Israel as part of a learning community studying, travelling, attending seminars, and conferences, and engaging in volunteer activities. The goal is to return with leadership skills that you can contribute in the years to come.
Avodah engages young people in direct work on the causes and effects of poverty in the United States. Programs place you as full-time employees in centers in Chicago, New York, New Orleans, and Washington, DC. An Earlham student has interned.
The Vilnius Yiddish Institute offers a summer institute in Yiddish language and culture. Vilnius (previously called Vilna) the center for Jewish learning before the Holocaust, is the capital of Lithuania. From July 26 to August 21, 2009
Offers summer internships which include intensive Yiddish language study and work with the Yiddish book collection. Several Earlham students have attended this program.
